You keep meaning to go out more.
Then it's 9pm, you're home again, and the plans you meant to make never happened. BreakAway is how they finally do — a social platform for actual socialising. Say what you're up for, and the places and people near you do the rest.

No infinite scroll. No follower count. The whole thing is built to put you somewhere real in the next hour.
Start with what you're up for.
A coffee, a walk, a game, a night out — or just out of the house. You say what you want; BreakAway takes it from there.
Then the city opens up.
Real spots near you that fit — somewhere to sit, somewhere to play, somewhere for the night. There's always somewhere to go, even when nothing's planned. And a place is where everyone in your mood ends up — so you're never the only one there.
And places are where you meet people.
Show up and there are others who were up for the same thing tonight. Plans start there. Strangers turn into your regulars — the way a group chat never quite manages.
The ones you click with stay.
Add them, and next time's easy — no thread that never lands on a plan. Your circle grows from the people you actually do things with.

Common questions
What is BreakAway?
A social platform for actual socialising — meeting real people and doing real things, in real life. Say what you're up for, see who and what's around you, and go. No feeds, no followers.
What are Places?
Hand-picked spots around the city, tagged by what you'd do there — a café to sit, a court to play, somewhere for the night. Find one that fits and plan something, or just show up and meet whoever's there.
How does the map work?
You start hidden. Say what you're up for and you'll see who and what's around — people nearby can tell you're out, but never your exact spot, just a rough distance. You fade out after a while, or step back any time.
How do friends work?
Add people you meet or already know, with a mutual yes. Then make plans with them directly — no group-chat back-and-forth. Your circle stays private; nothing's publicly searchable.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Settings → Danger Zone → Delete account. Your profile, plans, chats, and all data are permanently removed. You can also email gooffline.social@gmail.com to request deletion.
We want to hear from you.
BreakAway is small and still being shaped. If you've got an idea, want it in your city, want to rep it on your campus, or hit a bug — tell us. We read every one.
Or email us directly at gooffline.social@gmail.com.
Built in Ahmedabad, for evenings that start small.
We're shipping to one city first. Chai counters, riverside walks, pickleball at 6, a small crowd at a long table. If a plan you wanted isn't here — post it. The map fills up with whatever the city's actually doing.
